Nest Boxes
Our nest boxes are wide enough for two hens to lay at the same time. 1' X 2' made out of pine ply wood. The door opens up inside the coop walk way for making gathering eggs easy. We put a decorative touch by adding some wood trim to give just a touch of fancy. They are super easy too build, and the hens love them! We also like how easy they are to clean. Some of our hens like pine shavings some like hay in their nest boxes. Just sprinkle a little alfalfa in the nest boxes to encourage the ladies to lay.
Roll Out Nest Boxes
These are Nest-O-Matic Roll out nest boxes. They work really well to keep eggs clean and to prevent hens from pecking and eating their eggs. These nest boxes are easy to clean and have curtains to make nest box more private and dark to keep hens calm when laying eggs.
